Status Bar is missing in Explorer due to not set to be displayed.
Cause:
The 'Status Bar' has been disabled in the 'View' menu.
Solution:
In Explorer, the 'View' menu and select 'Status Bar' . (A check mark appears next to the word when the Status Bar is enabled.)
